Guest guest
Well, I can't believe it but we go for our STARband scan on Thursday. It only took 4 months from my first pedi visit. Sad, huh? Doctors, I just don't know. LOL Anyway, I don't know which pattern to get or rather to just get the plain white or blue. I'm not artist at all, so drawing would be out of the question. I could do stickers. I have heard that the patterns don't even look close to what they suppose to, is this true? Thanks for all of your help. Zayne's tort is getting better. He has FROM now, but still has a slight tilt. He will be in therapy for several more months, which is fine by me. He will be 8 months old tommorrow. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for all of you for your kind words and words of wisdom. Becky Zayne 09/05/
Guest guest
Hi Becky: I just got the white STARband and put stickers on it. We thought about getting one w/the pattern, but decided w/the holidays coming up, I'd decorate it. It was kind of fun seeing the changing themes. I figured I'd get even more sick of it by looking at the same pattern for months so I figured that way, I could jazz it up on my own Good luck Thursday. What clinic are you going to? Guest guest
I've always been partial to the plain bands so that you can change out the sticker decorations. Guest guest
Hi Becky, I hope all goes well with your scan for Zayne's band. As for the choice of bands, I went with the plain white one. I originally had planned to go with one with some primary colors on it (tornado maybe) but in the end decided that I would much rather do the whole sticker thing! I am sooooo glad that I did. It was the best part of the banding (besides the round head at the end, and the crash helmet effect, LOL) I loved being to put his name on the band, to change stickers for all the seasons, etc. I am the least crafty person I know and I work full time as well, so the stickers do not need any talent or much time to be effect!!!!! I am so glad that you are finally going to have some treatment for Zayne!!! That darn tort is so persistent. My son was in PT for a full year, and there is a possibility that we will be back if he doesn't continue to develop his gross motor skills on his own. It is never ending, even if that tilt is gone! Please keep us posted!!! - mom to Aidan > Well, I can't believe it but we go for our STARband scan on > Thursday. It only took 4 months from my first pedi visit. Sad, > huh? Guest guest
Hi Becky Good luck today. Let us know how it went. I think that scanning would be really neat to watch. As far as design goes. I LOOOVED to deco Willow's band so I would def. say go for the white. We changed stickers often.
