The only way to know what we can and cannot eat is by trying different foods. I can eat basically any fruit and is does not bother me. I do have to stay away from bananas or eat just a very small piece of one. hugs Eunice

I went up to 200 post dinner the other night - had some granola and milk. Maybe I misjudged my insulin but I was still shocked. Guess there will always be some things we have to avoid. The part that I am kicking myself over is that I didn't eat 6...I ate a lot more and the overeating was completely my own fault. That was the foolish thing! I'm usually pretty good at moderation....but very occassionally I get angry and think, " why should I have to stop at 6 when everyone else is eating more " ? Of course, no one else is diabetic, that's why. I realise that the only one who looses out with that kind of attitude is me. I'm angry with myself for continuing to eat when I knew in my head that I should stop. It is taking longer to get out of my system than I thought. My levels seem okay, but the tiredness and fuzzy brain is still here...'course that could be just me Also, calf cramps for the last 2 nights. Hmmm, won't do that again for a while. ~ Jayd
