Guest guest
He's so cute ! I know you aren't completely happy with his end result, but comparing it to how it was when you started is like night and day! Guest guest
, I actually think looks fantastic. He looks great in my opinion from all views (top, side, and front.) I am really stunned at how his head has lengthened overall from front to back; his cephalic ratio must have improved tremendously over the last year... have you ever computed it from measuring the photos of his top view just to compare? With Remy, we saw cephalic ratio improvement from 11 to 18 months, which was after we stopped aggressive repo... even that little bit of a ratio improvement contributed to a huge improvement aesthetically as far as her headshape goes. Thank you for posting his photos, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > Since I never added any official " after pics, " I decided to add three that I took today which show some progress and the teeth alignment problem. > > B. > Mom to B. > STARBand drop out 8/03 > DOCBand #1 9/4/03-12/18/03 > DOCBand #2 12/18/03-2/10/04 > Miami
Guest guest
Hello ... first I must tell you... I can't believe how big has gotten in this past few months. He looks like a little gentleman. Also, he's so cute... I love his face, he just looks adorable. I must tell you that I was very impressed with the rounding he has done in the back... The top view picture is impressive. I only wish Ignacio's rounding is as close as 's but I must tell you its not. He still has a flat spot on the right side and when you look top view you can still notice it. But well, I guess we can't ask for perfection... At least his assymetry has corrected itself. He will be a DOC Grad on May 11th. We are doing the exit cast just in case since the little devil in still not sitting on his own. I definetely can see what you were mentioning of his teeth, but I know that you guys will turn every stone you have upon your reach to solve this. I guess he's thrilled to be band free for good;-) Take care, Annie Mom to twins, Ignacio (DOC 12/2/03 & 2/17/04) & San , PR > Since I never added any official " after pics, " I decided to add three that I took today which show some progress and the teeth alignment problem. > > B. > Mom to B. > STARBand drop out 8/03 > DOCBand #1 9/4/03-12/18/03 > DOCBand #2 12/18/03-2/10/04 > Miami
Guest guest
Christie---I know what you are saying regarding 's head length. When I looked at the top view pic for the first time, I would have sworn it was of my older son. I am sure the cephalic ratio did improve. Since we didn't do f/u measurements at the end of treatment, I never had the numbers. Oh well. Unfortunately, although pictures don't show it, his head still looks flat to my husband and I. However, no on has ever brought it to my attn. unless I point it out first. Sometimes, it looks so flat to me that I imagine comparing it to the bottom of a frying pan. I am over obsessing about it though as I realize we did everything we could and did get some improvement from our efforts. I am sure that will be okay with this in the future. I do worry about his jaw alignment and shape. Without a doubt, orthodontia is in 's future. Things are a lot better (less stressful) with all of this a year out, you know? At this point last year we were just getting revved up to begin all this. Aaaaahhh. Thanks for your comments, . I took them to heart.
