Guest guest
I need some help and I knew you guys were the ones to come to. I need to know if anyone has had any experience or knows someone who has had an experience like mine. Okay, here goes: I haven't worked since February. I awoke one morning with an extreme pain in my low back and down my left leg. Testing has shown that I have bone spurs along my lumbar spine, 3 herniated discs, and degenerative osteoarthritis. Right now I'm unable to stay in any one position for any length of time. There's no way I can sit at a console for 8 hrs. This is in addition to other medical problems but this is the one that is keeping me from leading a normal life. Have any other dispatchers had this problem? How have you coped? If I'm unable to continue to dispatch what kind of career would my skills make me eligible for? I can't take pain medication or muscle relaxers and stay alert for dispatch. What do you suggest? Thanks for any and all replies, JoVina (former Goddess of Dispatch) TX ________________________________________________ Get your own " 800 " number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag
