Guest guest
will you bungee jump with me? ummm..Carla, you sure you got the right "J"? Why not ask Jimmy. I'm sure you can work something out. Would hanging out of the helicopter count? On second thought...nah, Jimmy can do that one too ) Hey Jimmy, I'm really gonna have to hide when I'm in Vegas ) Just don't hit me too hard, ok? Better yet, you can force me to sit through a "Wayne Newton" show while we're in Vegas. I think that would do.... ) June Proud member of the "J" Team )
Guest guest
Wowl, this quiet little lady has guts!! Okay, the boat cruise, Carla sent the website; it is $49 per person; they pick you up at the hotel o1t `10 am and return you about 5. There are supposedly about 15 of us going; I registered me and , so I sure hope lots of people go! I would like to do the helicopter also, but the J people are doing it on Friday. If there is any interest in getting another group Thursday or Saturday morning, I'm up for it! And as for the football thing hey why not! Let's find out the time, and then set the dinner so we can do both!! We are really going to have fun, I love it! Much better than standing around while 60 people try to decide what to do!! Marie Re: Las Vegas XFL >So what time is the dinner scheduled for on Saturday? Would it be possible >to do this game >and the dinner? or could we have the dinner at the game?? Everyone gets a >hot dog?? marie >--- > Did I mention I hate football and don't understand it one bit? My buddy >Nate loves it and this may be the turning point to getting he and Christi to >LV so, I love football. I'll go if it's not interfering w/anything better >lol. Bobby is sleeping and he will be thrilled to know there is interest in >the XFL stuff. What's the boating thing you're committed to? I want to do >that, I'm so behind, is this the rafting thing Sara's been talking about? >Is it a group deal, what are your arrangements? If that helicopter thing's >full can't we form another group? I need to relay this to , she's >been off the Crew for some time now and she's asking about all this too. >Thanks for your advice on the pierce, June. I'm just gonna try it cuz my >friends have em and I just.... need one too 8), I may take it out if it's >bothersome later, will you bungee jump with me? Ya gotta do something wild, >this is Las Vegas! >Carla... has a date with Nate & Christie for Mexican food and Margaritas on >the 22nd > > > >
Guest guest
What time is the XFL game? Could we possibly change the time of the dinner so we could do both? Otherwise I am afraid some of the guys may go to the game and miss the dinner! Guest guest
Sorry gang. The dinner at Olive Garden is set for 5:30 PM Saturday. The size of our group limits our options. The OG can't handle a group our size late.enough to accomadate the XFL fans. The Saturday group dinner is the one group event that has endured since I started NF2con in 1994. Its the one event I push for in soliciting donations. Because of the size of our group and the fact OG is going to charge me for all " no-shows " I will most likely be asking for a committment email from everyone who wants to eat with us Sat. night. But that can wait. I'm still chasing funds. Right now it looks like our budget may only cover all NF2ers and one guest. If you have family members and friends coming, thats fine, they're welcome to join us. But I will probably need to charge them the per person fee. For those who lack the funds or stomachs to do the big $$$ tours and activities, don't despair. Caren and I will be around most likely. Hotel hopping, shopping and other stuff can be done close to Harrah's. The suite will be available for just hanging out most of the time too. Saturday we're planning an open captioned movie field trip for around 1:00 PM - movie: TBA. The boat/dam tour and Grand Canyon tour sound way cool. I hope you guys have a blast Right now Caren and I plan to stay close to the hotel and hang out with the less adventurous. If ya do plan to see the Outlaws (XFL team) game, better get your tickets soon. Sam Boyd Stadium only seats around 32,000 and the first game was a quick sellout. If ya have any questions, email Caren or myself. -Pat
