I am amazed that you still had this saved. It seems like years ago that I

wrote this. It is one of MANY instances that we can all recall about the

stress. After a few days or what seems like a lifetime behind the mic everyone

develops a whole different view on life and on humor. Before I sat down and

plugged in for the first time I had no idea about " gallows humor "

firsthand...but

had heard about it. I now know and appreciate how the least little bit of

humor can make all the difference in the world in a tense situation. No, it

isn't

always right or politically correct but it is definitely necessary at times.
