Guest guest
Hi , The band should take care of her facial assymetry. As the head rounds up, the face will should align as well. They say facial assymetry is often the last thing to correct though. My daughter had some significant ear asymmetry that really improved with the band. , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma > > my 5 mo old daughter has tort and plagio, she has been banded for 3 > wks now. one cheek is fuller than the other. do i need to have her > seen by a cranio facial specialist or is this something the band and > physical therapy will take care of. > thanks > angela/ el cajon ca > mother to ashley/ tort and plagio, banded 29 oct
Guest guest
I think you could probably hold off on seeing a craniofacial specialist. Sometimes the assymetry gets better with the band and PT. Later on after the band is off and her tort is resolved, if you are still concerned, you could make an appt.
