Q: So, is this DAN a MD or a Homeopath? If they are a homeopath I don't think

they can prescribe meds like prescription antifungals but do they work with an

MD? They might and might be able to refer you to the MD just for a prescription

for anti fungals to get a jump on things. Tell them your reasons. I think you

can do this in an e-mail or phone call.

They might be opposed to prescription antifungals for some reason like it's

tough on the body, ask them why? and can they suggest or offer yeast targeting

enzymes, for example -- find out the plan, ask " what's the anticipated

treatment plan for the next 6 mo, year " for my child, based on what we know now.

Track any changes in your child so you can report back --positive or negative.

We are on prescription antifungals right now because my kids are on antibiotics

and our DAN, M.D. has us drawing blood for liver function tests every 6-8 weeks.

This is important. Antifungals are tough on the body but our kids need them.

Homeopathy supports the liver and other organs and makes this less stressful for

my kids.

We do juggle both DAN and homeopathy but we have active communication between

them and sometimes they prioritize differently. Your homeopath most likely wants

to balance all the organs as a big first step and then go forward with detox in

a systematic fashion based on what they are detecting as your child's issues --

metals for example can be high and low at different times because they get

excreted in pockets with homeopathy, you'll need a lot of supports for that.

Same story with viruses or toxins or parasites, up/down at different times.

Communication is key as is your understanding of the overall plan, you are

driving your child's treatment plan.
