Guest guest
Hi everyone! Last year at this time my Mother died suddenly of a massive brain stroke. I took my Father in my home as he is very sick with diabetes, arthritis, etc. In November he was found to have larynx cancer and had a total laryngetomy. He was followed by daily radiation. He refused any other treatment. We were told a week ago he is terminal and were advised to bring Hospice in. Four days later I found a lump in my breast (with puckering). I went to the Dr. the very next morning, although I first had to go to the hospital becuz my 18 mo old graddaughter was having hip surgery. I had a mammogram and ultrasound on Friday. My Dr. called as soon as I was home and told me the radiologist said it is 2 cm and looks to be cancer. Has anyone had the radiologist be wrong? What is the next step? Is it different for everyone? Are there symptoms to know if it is anywhere else other than the breast? Sorry this is so long. Just wanted to give some background. I know I am in for the journey of my life, but I do have God and a very strong faith in His Word. I just wanted to hear from some who have walked this path. It is so scary no matter how much faith you have. Thanks for reading and God Bless all of you! Margie
