I am so amazed at how you look ahead and prepare. Some things I just never think

of.

I have gotten an orgainzer and have begun to document things with my dtr. Like

court dates, doctor dates, and meds ordered or discontinued. All of her social

workers and judges, and the places she is saying. I hope this helps to keep up

with her treatment. I don't know how you all have done it!!! I did get a booklet

on juvinile justice to help me understand some of the process. As she is in

state custody now and it is hard to keep up with. And I thought that if her dad

had to go to appointments when I couldn't that he would have some of this

information with him, especially since I take care of most of the

details....which reminds me.... are all of your spouses really active with the

details? I think this is a mom thing for me, just keeping up dates and things

like that, but I am afraid that if I don't get him in the habit of doing or

keeping up with some of these things, I will be sorry.

Re: BP Traits & Therapists are frustrating Part 2

Hey, Kelley!

It always amazes me, too, how my house can get so dirty. There are

just the three of us, although I am home, but still, my family has a

hard time (and I can't figure it out, because it's always been a

rule) taking their dishes into the kitchen, putting their food away

from making a sandwich, and throwing away trash.

They'd rather leave a drink cup from a fast food restaurant, than

take a moment to dump the contents and toss the container away.

Then they (including my husband) get mad at ME for asking them (and

I'm ALMOST always nice about it) to take care of their dishes and

trash. Grrr, pet peeve.

I'm afraid I was a little lost on your most recent post, because I

didn't remember (and I'm sorry) the particulars of your situation

with regards to your visits with your grandchild.

Let me see if I get this right: you're picking your grandchild up

at school on Friday with his mom or the DFCS person?

Is this a supervised visit for the parent? Is the child removed

from the home? Does the 6-year-old live with you? Why do you need

a doctor after hours? Can you not take him from school to the doc,

or is their issues involved with the parents that makes it

impossible to do that?

Lots of questions!
