Topomax -- Shirley Re: question on hospitalization

I know I'm so far behind in all these replies, I'm considering changing my legal name to Pokey Peggy Fall Behind, what do you all think?

I take Topamax and have since I was dx. It is supposed to take care of the migraines. I take 100mg a day. I take 50 in the morning and 50 at night. I think I need it to be raised as it doesn't seem to work as well anymore.

It can make you tired and can cause confusion as well. It also decreases your appetite. My neighbor is on 200mg a day and she's a stick figure, lol. She has Crohns disease.

I was just put on a new pill for stress tension headaches and take Amytriptiline for them at night. I can't tell the difference if they work or not. I'm on so many pills now I wouldn't know if they worked or not.
