I nearly have during the braces segment and to the remarks when people see you without the braces on they assume you are better, they don't get it, I get tired of explaining, try to laugh and says an elephant stepped on me. I am proud to be your mother, I know your life and what a brave person and great mother you are, despite your significant limitations and intense pain. My " label " has always been RA, from years back. I think I was thrown in that group because they didn't have a clue. Look forward to knowing you better. The thing that keeps me dragging along is that we are caregivers of my husbands brother who is paralyzed with MS. I can look at his total nonability and be thankful for any movement I have no matter how painful-keeps me grounded. Look forward to knowing you better. Congratulations on the approaching wedding. I understnad what you mean by being thankful for what we do have! When I start feeling down, I certainly don't have to look very far to find someone who is worse off than me! It always helps to put things in perspective, doesn't it? Hope you're having a great, relaxing holiday weekend. I had my folks over for dinner today, but that's about all I'm doing. The skirt is plain black, and the top of it is all sparkly, with rhinestones and black rhinestones set in a pattern. The neckline is square, and it has straps, which are about 1 " wide. The jacket is also sparkly, but no pattern. I'll try to send you a picture or two after the wedding, as we have a digital camera. Can you open zip files? Thanks for asking, I'm so excited! I bought her a wedding photo album today, and both of us a small album that can be carried in a purse, to take along and show pictures to friends. She will be coming down Sept. 21st for a shower here, and for that, I got her a short white negligee and a long white one and a frilly garter belt and a Betty Crocker Cook Book. It should be fun.
