Guest guest
Hi Kendall: The little guy went to the pedi on Thurs. He gained 1lb 4oz, and grew 1-1/4 inches in 3 weeks. Those 0-3 outfits are not going to fit much longer. Joanne

Guest guest
Glad to hear he is growing like a weed. My son was 5lbs 6oz. at birth (7 weeks early) and by his due date (7 weeks later) he weighed 9lbs! Hope everything continues to go well. I know how you feel about getting up at 5:30 a.m. I also get up at 5:30 to get Ross to school and Dh and I off to work on time. Take Care and enjoy your New Year. Guest guest
Hi Kendall: What a weight gain for Ross. That is wonderful especially seeing that he was as early as he was. I like his name. We are all R's & J's. At least with the holiday we both have a break from getting up so early. Happy New year Joanne
Guest guest
Joanne, Here I am at 6:30 on a Sunday, unable to sleep due to a head cold. Maybe this is just my body's way of getting me ready for those early morning feedings Amazingly enough even with Ross' big weight gain at the beginning, he has always been at the low end of the scale weight wise (he is tall and thin like his dad) and I never had to feed him more often than about every 3 hours or so. Hope RJ eases up on you a little so you can sleep more at one stretch. HAPPY NEW YEAR and HAPPY NEW MILLENIUM! Kendall mylovexxxooo@... wrote: > Hi Kendall: > > What a weight gain for Ross. Guest guest
Kendall: Will you doc let you take anything for your cold? Mine allowed me to take Sudafed & Robitussin DM only. I only used either when I really was uncomfortable. The Sudafed worked incredible. I find that if I don't allow RJ to sleep as much during the day, and get most of those feedings during the day I am all set at night for sleep. He seems to only get up once, but if I let him sleep for too much of a long stretch throughout the day than he will get up very often during the night. Atleast he falls right to sleep after he nurses. One night I was so tired, and I was dying to get to bed, while he was nursing he fell asleep, and he smiles with one of those milky grins, Ithought to myself, as tired as I am just to see that is all worth the loss of sleep. Guest guest
Joanne, I can take sudafed (don't need the Robitussin, as I don't have a cough, just congestion), but it isn't a tremendous help. The congestion seems to be breaking up a bit and I am blowing my nose a lot, so I am hanging in there. I feel like I might as well be up for feedings though, as I am not sleeping through the night. Oh well, comes with the territory I guess. Enjoy your time alone with RJ as your daughters go back to school. Guest guest
Kendall, Well at least you can take something. Some docs won't allow anything. You don't mind staying up at night if its for something good, not sickness thats for sure. I remember to many sleepless nights because of colds with my 2nd . Today was back to scedule with school, and I am enjoying RJ more and more, thanks. Hope you feel better Joanne
