Guest guest
Hey fellow star banded family! I was just checking on how Colin is doing with his progress, Last time we saw the ortho he said 4 more weeks full time and then 4 more weeks just at night, I posted about this b/c I never heard of wearing it just at night, so I was wondering hoe far along Colin is since Abbey and him were banded a couple days apart and they are a couple days apart in age too! To be honest I don't notice much change at all, last time she was measured she had only moved 1/8 of an inch since the beginning. I think her head looks fine when her hair is dry and everything but when it's wet I can still see her right sided plagio and it is still flat in the back. Everytime we see the ortho he takes the band off and feels her head and is like, " good its building and rounding out well, " and I feel like saying where the hell are you seeing that? Are you going through any of this? Anything would be helpful, maybe I just need a pick me up...LOL got a drink? LOL Talk to you soon Sue... Guest guest
, Go ahead and ask the ortho to point it out. I did on more than one occasion. I would say - I can't see where it has improved could you point it out to me and compare it to the headsicle or scan (we had a cast)? Our ortho would kindly oblige me. Once she pointed it out I could usually see what she was talking about. mom to na --- In Plagiocephaly , " " <katiemammen@c...> wrote: > Hey fellow star banded family! Guest guest
Hey, how did you do that? LOL I just responded to you by e-mail but to the rest of the group, if interested, it went something like this... Wine or Liquor? Colin's head is improving but there is still rt plagio and brachy, especially towards the top of his head. This past Tues. the ortho cut ~3 " circle into the foam almost dead center back of band (more towards Colin's rt side) so we are finally working on the brachy. I will take 8 wk/2 mo. progress photos and post them next week. I still see the rt plagio looking from the top but it's better than it was. I think if you take pictures you can see the improvement much better since you see her everyday. I am not expecting complete roundness by the time he outgrows the band but I think by the time they are 3 (or much sooner) it will be virtually undetectable. Their cute smiles will capture people's attention!!!! Take care! Sue Colin F. 10 mos. StarBand 6/29 Buffalo, NY -- In Plagiocephaly , " " <katiemammen@c...> wrote: > Hey fellow star banded family!
