Radiation Treatment

I was diagnosed with DCIS Stage 0 ten weeks ago. I had two lumpectomies

in order to get clean margins. There was one malignant cell remaining

so my breast surgeon referred me to a radiation oncologist for further

treatment.

Today I had my simulation treatment. It was very uncomfortable holding

onto a handle on top of the machine for fifteen minutes. Also I was

upset that my breast was marked with tattoos.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the whole experience. Too many

people, too many procedures, indecision, uncertainty.

Can anyone in my situation relate?

Looking forward to responses from my post.---
