I can't believe our weather today in MA...it's going to hit the high

eighties! It seems just a few days ago we couldn't see around the

ten-foot tall snow banks, and now this. Hope everyone has a terrific

Sunday! Annette

It is beautiful here in GA too. Time to clean the kids closets and pack up

the winter duds. My life. Will the excitement never end?

Hugs,

Cari

Hi Annette....wow, in the 70° are you. How nice.....Are you sore

after your fall?

Today I'm also having such beautiful weather. The snow is gone and for

the first time since I've owned this property (11 years) the Monarch

buttierflies are flying over the property by the thousands. What a site

this is.

Woke up this morning with my hands sore and unable to make a fist.

Seems like the tendons are very tight. When I do make a fist the tendon

running down the inside of my arm is painful. Oh joy another thing to

worry about... ain't this fun!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Take care,

Vicki

Hi Vicki...I'm doing much better today. Had a little trouble sleeping last

night because my left side was very sore, but I'll be back on top tomorrow,

I'm sure. It's actually HOT here this evening, but I hate to complain;

people think you're nuts when you complain about the heat at this time of

year! Take care, Annette

Annette, I'm thankful that you're doing better. As for the heat.... I'm

with you. People look at me as if I " m nuts when I complain when the

temp gets to about 75°. I can't take the heat at all. One good

thing about living here, during the evening hours the temp drops about

40 to 50 degrees. So it gets cold at night and I can only sleep when

it's cold.

Have a great day,

Vicki

Vicki,

My daughter, Karsyn, is a nut for butterflies. I bet it is a beautiful

site. She has one of those boxes where you can order the larvea and they

spin into cocoons and then we can watch the butterflies come out. Very

cool. Enjoy the site.

Hugs,

Cari

Cari... that is a very great thing for a child to do. She's learning a

lot by watching them turn into butterflies.

It's been over 4 hrs now and they are still coming through here. Not as

much but it's still an awesome sight. The desert must be loaded with

them. If it's sunny tomorrow I'll make the drive out to the desert to

see them.

Hope you're having a great day.

Vicki and Annette,

I third that (can't do heat). I find either extreme hard. I'd die

without air conditioning. It gets super muggy in Ohio. I used to sleep in

the air conditioned wing of our building. When I moved I said I need a

window air conditioner. Most of the nunlies do not have one, but most of the

nunlies don't have MCTD. (Sister has one and she has lupus, so we're

the " celebs. " )

Annette,

We had known for months that her middle name would be after my

mother-in-law. I was 8 months pregnant and we were still tossing girl names

around. We were at a dinner party when we were asked what the baby's name

would be. We admitted we didn't have one yet. The woman next to me said

that if she ever had a girl she would like to name her, " Carson " . Jeff and

I looked at each other and we just knew that was it. All you parents know

what I mean. When you come across the right name for your baby, you just

know. My sister changed the " C " to a " K " , so the baby would have a strong

personality (and boy does she ever!!!). My mother-in-law changed the " son "

to " syn " so the name would be more feminine. So, there you go, Karsyn

. Karsyn loves this story. We have met a few Carson's in the past

few years. Some are boys, some are girls. Karsyn was born the June after

the May ny Carson retired. I can't tell you how many people asked us if

we named the baby after ny Carson. Ha ha! I don't think Karsyn would

appreciate that story as much! LOL

Hugs,

Cari

Dear Anne-Marie, I just got my air conditioner last summer...what a

wonderful gift to myself!! At long last I can cook and write and paint and

just plain live without drooping all over the place during the summer. Life

is good! Annette

Hi Cari... I'm trying to catch up on my emails.... Just wanted to tell

you that I also love the name Karsyn... it's a very unusual and

beautiful name. The story of how you came about picking it out was

great.... Hope you and had a good day and that his cute little

face is red and swollen no longer...

Hugs

Vicki
