For my third dose, I took 5 mg. and I was going to take 5 mg for my fourth dose. My temps are steady, but definitely low--97.7. I'm not getting why I'm having this reaction??? Can you advise further? thanks, Dahlia
Guest guest
It sounds like it is time for a thyroid increase. Now that the thyroid is able to get into the cells you are running out of it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

I'm also having stiffness in my back, unrelated to anything...do you think that is from too much hc or, hmmmm, not enough armour? I recently tried increasing my armour dose and couldn't handle it, in terms of feeling too revved up. Dahlia
Guest guest
>>I recently tried increasing my armour dose and couldn't handle it, in terms of feeling too revved up.<< If your temps are low with this symptoms you shouldn't be reducing HC at all. It is not a too much thyroid symptoms but a too low cortisol symptom. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

" This could explain why I was fabulous yesterday, but pretty tired today, huh?! I am not on Armour yet...Today is day 8 on HC, and I am at 15 mg total. Now that the thyroid is able to get into the cells you are running out of it.> Hi Val, I really don't think it's a thyroid increase I need, but an h.c. decrease. What I notice is that I feel better as the hc wears off, but I'm not really having any thyroid symptoms. I feel over stimulated, if anything, and edgy. The temps are low-ish, but I am feeling better and better, so I think it makes sense to go by that for now. I should mention that I started DHEA about 3 weeks ago. With DHEA, I feel a return to energy levels and motivation and mental clarity that I thought I would never find again! I wonder if anyone else has had this experience? I know DHEA is made by the adrenals and I'm wondering if I can go up on DHEA and down, maybe off h.c.?? I can't find any info on taking DHEA and h.c. Also, in the past few weeks, I stopped cortef and began taking hydrocortone--is hydrocortone stronger than Cortef, and/or does it last in the system longer? If so, might that explain why I may feel I need less? And perhaps I should be timing the doses further apart? BTW, after decreasing the second dose, which dose would you decrease next, and how long should I wait after each decrease? thanks, Dahlia

Each decrease should be held at leat a week if not ,longe. but a minimum of a week. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
