Guest guest
Hello, Friends. We re started a virastop trial and noted a large red ring rash around his mouth (no bumps or blisters, just a red, sore rash above the upper lip and below the lower lip. We have been increasing the dose and are now at therapeudic dose with the same rash ( a little less bad than the first one, which lasted a week) having reappeared about 2 days ago. We are losing our nerve, but are holding at the dose as per enzymestuff. I know my son has viral issues and, despite the rashes and fatigue, I definitely see improvements in communication, receptive language and overall interactive behaviour. He is also on Candidase as an anti fungal. Has anyone seen this type of rash and what virus could this be? It is not impedigo, Herpes Zoster, or anything that I can tell from looking at common childhood rashes...I am sure it is viral, due to the VS. Thank you!
