can have some low fat dessert that are very low in calories, and with

your walking and your water, you will be ok, i found out that waters,

helps with my craving,im going to start drinking more water now,and

start my exercise,dont be too hard on yourself, get a low fat,and you

can have the white of the turkey which is low in fat,let us know how

your new years eve went, im looking forward to hearing all about it,i

will probably stay home, we cant afford to spend any money, but we

still enjoy a good movie on tv, :)im looking forward to

that ,remember do it slow, too fast i have read is not good, Sara.

I can not say this enough! DO NOT diet! If you deprive yourself you

will be more likely to go off and binge. It is setting yourself up for

failure. Real, lasting weight loss comes from learning balance, a new

lifestyle, changing habits. Make little changes that you can live with.

If it isn't something you can do for the rest of your life try

something else. You aren't going to go the rest of your life without

treats right? Just learn to control your portions.

Here are the basics:

Portion control- eat normal foods just less of them. Take small bites,

chew a long time.

Drink plenty of water

Avoid pop and alcohol

Avoid or cut back on refined, processed foods, high fat foods.

Eat more fruits and veggies

Get more exercise

I have lost 84 lbs since Oct 2000 just by eating better and doing the

treadmill. It's really not that hard. You can do it! Live, be happy! Be

good to yourself!!!
