Guest guest Posted June 8, 2005 Report Share Posted June 8, 2005 Well, I had a brain tumor that was benign. I had gamma knife surgery last May and am doing great. If you have a brain tumor that is not operable, ask your doctor about the gamma knife surgery if you want to have it removed. The surgery is painless and they don't have to cut into your head. The gamma knife surgery is like a radiation treatment but somewhat different....I went home from the hospital the next day and attended a Hat luncheon the day after that. Doris P. S.
