Guest guest
Pam I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I had my mc and ep. I didnt want to be around babies or pg women. but, then my 3 closest friends all got pregnant within 3 months. and then another one just got pregnant last month. so i am surrounded by babies and pg women. I am okay with it now, though, but it was veryhard. Im sure you will really enjoy meeting with all of them. good luck to you crystal

Guest guest
Pam, That is going to be so much fun to be involved in. When we had Matt, my husband's softball team almost all of us were pg at the same time, so the next year was really great! Alot of bonding involved! Hi Shirley, I would think that high blood pressure would cause stress to your body, even though you may not seem stressed, therefore that would cause you bg's to be higher. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
Shirley, my doc put me on blood pressure meds about two weeks ago also and I, too, noticed that my sugars went down. My husband asked if there could be a connection, and I said, naugh - no way. Now I am wondering although I don't understand how one could affect the other. Any ideas out there? Carole amazing The last couple of weeks I have been back on my food plan and doing real well but my blood sugar has been DOWN... and not over 200 at all anymore... but it has been 126-166 two hours after meals on my BEST day... so even though it has been better, it is not where it needs to be. However, last week I had to go to the doctor for my A1C and my blood pressure was 232/112... (I think that was it) and my doctor was very upset with me. It has been high for a while now but not nearly THAT high. So he put me on blood pressure medication Friday and yesterday and today my blood sugar as been significantly lower. I've been in the mid 90's almost every time, 2 hours after meals and it was even low when I first got up and took it fasting. I am AMAZED! Could my blood pressure have been making it go higher from the stress? Shirley

Guest guest
<<Could my blood pressure have been making it go higher from the stress?>> Shirley, I've noticed that my blood sugar seems to correspond with my blood pressure. Since getting my bg's down, my blood pressure has gone way down, too. After years of taking bp medicine, the doc cut it in half and I'm doing super. Of course, it could just be because I'm eating healthier, taking better care of myself and losing weight. But if my bp is up, you can usually be sure that my bg's are up and vice versa.
