Guest guest
Krissy, Miami is about a 6 hour drive from me. (I am in Gainesville.) Yes I got my money back for the STARband but it wasn't easy. I didn't have to deal with the insurance because the facility I was going to for the STARband never billed my insurance company and made me pay the whole thing up front. (they told me they would bill the insurance but didn't) I did end up getting every penny back though. We took Angel Flight one time but decided on driving instead. (The plane is really small usually, ours was only a four seater). Another lady in Tampa however flew to Miami everytime using Angel Flight. I am not crazy about flying so we drive. We have family that we stay with when we go there so we usually go there on Sunday, spend Sunday night and have a Monday morning appt. so we only have to take one day off of work. The people at CT in Miami are great. I haven't had any trouble AT ALL with my son's band and he has made great progress. He has been in it for 5 weeks now and may only have to be in it another 6 weeks. He was about 6 1/2 months when he got it. Let me know if you have any other questions.
