Stretch Marks from Prednisone

Hello Everyone,

When I was on the prednisone I gained ALOT of weight VERY fast. In turn my

body became one big stretch mark! YIKES! I have started to lose the

weight.(22 pounds)BUT I still have these huge PURPLE stretch marks. I know

how vain this must sound to many of you but does anyone know how to or any

thing to make these better. I know that these won't go completely away but

if I could just get the color out. My hives are now controlled with Allegra

and Ibproufen. I count my blessings every day that this is the case.

I too gained weight on Prednisone. It's so easy to put on and so hard to take

off. THere is supposed to be a creme that helps with stretch marks. Ask your

dermatologist.

Udder cream is supposed to help - the stuff they use on cows to keep the

teats from getting chapped. Haven't tried it personally.

Just remembered the name of that udder stuff - it's called " bag balm " .
