Good Morning

From all the posts I read this morning, you had quite a night, didn't you? I

think you are underestimating yourself. Of course you're tired and mentally

and emotionally drained. Without suffering from BP, most of us are drained and

completely wiped out from our children (young and older). And I know the

kind of work you do. My daughter waitressed for many years when I would have

lunch where she worked, I would see how much pressure she was under and I could

see the cook and he never looked pleasant. So, I now it is a very stressful

job.

Give yourself a break. A person without BP would be stressed to the limits.

Have a good day and don't worry about the inspection. Before real estate,

when I worked a regular job, my attitude used to be, " If this doesn't work out

I'll find something else. " It took the pressure off. That was 10 years ago,

when I worked in customer service for a manufacturing company---a fun job,

where everyone who called was miserable and dissatisfied.

Did or does your Mom have a very strong personality? I remember my daughter

once yelling at me that if she could stand up to me she could stand up to

anyone. What she didn't realize was that she was already like a steamroller

running me over even then.

That is what i plan on doing this weekend after all the appointments

Friday, I will be wiped out, so this weekend, while my daughter is gone will be

my time! I am not even getting out of my pjs....my boss will just have to

accept me not coming in Saturday night...that is her problem not mine...I know

what I have to do for myself and that comes first. By Friday, I will have

worked almost 2 weeks without a day off, bit stressful for a cook. Thank you

but that is exactly what I am going to do this weekend...sit around in my

pjs, watch movies and be so lazy!

I am fine

Good morning all, I am fine, just over worked and overstressed, and

tried to blame my feelings for a lot of things on a name, when in

reality I wanted to lash out at the disorder myself. But, now that I

am rested and not so much under a mood swing, I have to apologize for

taking it so personal, I do believe in the name change thing, but it

is a matter of opinion, and I should not have taken it so personal. I

have to be strong for my daughter and sometimes it gets a bit much for

me until she gets a little further in her own self acceptance, and

that I can't do for her. It gets frustrating watching her change into

whoever her " friends " are, sometimes I wonder if she really knows who

Brittany is and what Brittany likes, but we are working on that!

Somedays, I just need to hang a punching bad outside and let all my

frustrations from work and home out on it....but I am going to rest

this weekend and be totally lazy! Recoup time for !

Yes, my mother has a very very strong personality....I could never manipulate

her, I was scared of her...my mom is almost dominating. But, my dad workded

offshore and was gone 2 weeks out of the month, so she was basically like a

single parent, having to be very strong and deal with a BPD teen!
