Guest guest
Hi Cari and . Congratulations! It is not often (except for Ev's posts, of course) that you get to read of more than one piece of good news at a time. To be off the pred AND to be told that the hip problems will resolve is just great! Enjot the t-ball. And keep dry. Mike B

Guest guest
Thanks Mike! has his baseball glove ready to go! Now I am explaining to him on a daily basis that yes, he is signed up but he doesn't play until May. That is forever when you're five! Guest guest
Cari, I am so happy that the news is favorable regarding 's hip. As young as he is and since he is weaning off the prednisone, hopefully his hip will repair itself. Children recuperate and heal so much easier and faster than we do. It also sounds as if this is a " common sense " doctor since he realizes that you couldn't possibly keep off his hip completely at his age. Like the doctor said, will let you know when it bothers him. Pain will put a stop to many activities even in children because no one is going to keep doing something repeatedly that hurts over and over again. Gentle hugs, Fern
