Guest guest
- My son just got his band on Friday. When we arrived, they put it on right away and let him play for about 15 minutes. Then they took it off and check for spots that it wasn't fitting correctly. She made a couple of modifications to make it fit better around his ears and tried another 15 minutes. Then it was fine and we were on our way with cleaning and decorating instructions in hand. In our case, we were told to remove it every 3-4 hours for the first few days to check for redness. We have not had any problems and he adjusted very easily. Good luck to you and Ben! Guest guest
HI there - good luck with the scanning- I can understand your nerves about getting Ben scanned and a helmet, in the main, kids adjust very well, they are far more flexible than us adults! In term of tips- a really great new guide called TIPS ON FIRST HELMET can be found in the files section- the members put it together just last week to help parents starting out. Hope it helps you- I'd print a copy and take it with you to read in the waiting room! Of course email everyone here if you want more advice, or have any queries whatsoever, they love to help out.
