Greetings from Corpus Christi,

HALO Flight is evaluating the possibility of hosting/providing a couple

of courses in 2004. At this point, I am trying to gauge interest to see if

there is enough interest to move forward on providing one or both of theses the

courses.

PNCCT. The Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Course is the companion

program to the CCEMT-P. It is open to Paramedics, Nurses and I am assuming at

this point RT's but I am waiting to hear back from UMBC on this. It is 56 hours

in length and requires NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) prior to

completion of the course which we would try and offer at that time for those in

need.

Estimated cost would be around $600 for the PNCCT and $50-75 for NRP both

based upon number of enrollees. If you want specific information on the course,

AMCCC. The Air Medical Crew Core Curriculum is the DOT developed

curriculum for Air Medical Crews. This course meets the TDH requirements for air

medical crews. The curriculum has just been revised and I have not seen it yet

but

it should be in the neighborhood of 40-50 hours. The estimated cost at this

would be in the $300 range based upon the number of enrollees. For those not

currently involved in air medical transport, we are evaluating the possibility

of

clinicals with this course.
