Guest guest
Amy, What percentage of your wages do you get for unemployment? I know it's going to be a tough squeeze... if you need any tips from the expert (ME) let me know. I list a few here for example: Jaana's pathetic money-pinching plan: - use public restrooms as often as possible (FREE TOILET PAPER) - be careful to use half the amount of toothpaste & shampoos & TP than normal - Do not use A/C in the car (burns more gas) - replace all "fun beverages" with water (TAP water)(it's FREE) - for pets: See the butcher at the grocery store & ask for scraps (email me if you want the ingredients for home-cooked healthy pet food - wayyyyyyy cheaper than store bought pet food and healthier as well) - Cheapo foods: spagetti, peanut butter & jelly, cabbage (great for weight loss BTW), potatos, rice rice rice rice and MORE RICE (ugh!).... - (this only applies to me because i end up with dozens of half-rolls of papertowels from rentals: Folded up paper towels make perfect maxi pads - just beware of them "shifting" around) Aloooooooooha!-Jaana (TRYING VERY HARD TO CATCH UP WITH POSTS - EVERYONE: PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF I MISS SOMETHING OF IMPORTANCE!!!)Moderator / Member De-Bouncerator / humble Group servant Re: Re: Jaana going sideways well, that was back in college, when we knew we reallyhad to be careful with money. Now we probably spendabout $80-100 a week on groceries. I assume it will bemuch less now that I am unemployed.. should helpjump-start my diet anyway! Guest guest
> http://mail.yahoo.com They offer programs to pay based on your monthly income. You can get deeply discounted or free services. I ewould think the unemployment and other health issues may qualify you. When I was a student, it was no problem to qualify. Things may be different now... http://www.plannedparenthood.org WOuldn't hurt to find out. My local has a pre-form you fill out. They should be able to tell you if you qualify. I'm in Los Angeles...maybe they get more funding here because we're a liberal state. - red haired teacher lady
