Guest guest
Happy Valentine's Day: I am surrounded with sugar today! My mother in law sent over a huge container of heart cut-out sugar cookies, my mom baked some also & plans on dropping them off after work, and I have a 52 bar box of candy to sell for daughters t-ball fundraiser. So far, so good. I realize I'd have eaten that stuff before just because it was there, but now I actually think about it first. So, I am treating myself to a lo-carb lunch out with a friend. . . maybe a cheese omelet & bacon or something. It always tastes better when someone else cooks it! Guest guest
LOL! I don't know if its willpower, I'm just kind of too angry to eat the darn things--both mom and MIL know I'm dieting, so why send this down. I tried to explain its not really a diet, its more a lifestyle change. I guess I do have to get used to this, I can't just keep sweets out of the house forever. On the other hand, a little consideration would be nice, too! < grinning & shaking my head> Amy
Guest guest
Joya: There you go! I take it he's still getting up to excersise with you? <chuckle>I am going to take the candy bars to school to sell & DH can take to work, the cookies are going to the kids in daughter's CCD class tonight (well, most of them anyway). I'm hangin' in! I like this group!! Amy
Guest guest
Amy - I am so impressed with your willpower! Keep the cookie gremlins away and enjoy the day! Susie __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Keep it up Amy....you can do it!!!!!!! I am a cookie nut myself and my daughter brought home some beautifully decorated hearts...one for each of us, fortunately, so there won't be any hanging around tempting me. I gave mine to DH....he can burn it off while having to carry me home from jogging when I collapse ten yards behind him. Joya
