Guest guest
Hi, I don't know alot about accupuncture, but I have used reflexology. It's funny that you mention this because I just said to my husband last night that I should find my handbook and see if I can't find something that may help. I've always been a skeptic and when I first heard of reflexology, I thought it was ridiculous, but then I tried it....a while ago I had a bout with TMJ....I read the charts and found a reflex point (the web between your thumb and index finger), worked on it for a little while and it relieved the pain in my jaw this also helps with headaches. I forget the name of the book, but I will read into this later and let you know what I find. Everything I have tried has worked so far. The basic principle is that there are " reflex buttons " for the various systems in the body (circulatory, respiratory and immune). You locate the corressponding button on the chart (of your hands and feet) and apply pressure and massage until the spot is no longer sensitive. It can be uncomfortable at first, but I assure you it works. I'll post my findings tomorrow. I'm willing to try anything at this point. A side note-my dr. prescribed Clindamycin today, I will let you know if anything changes while on it. Take Care, Nikki > Someone told me accupuncture can fix urticaria. Is that possible or > it's just a bunch of false hopes?
