Guest guest
Hello Everyone... Today I had my nutrition class and learned how to use my meter. Tonight I started to figure out what I am going to eat tomorrow. I've been told to use the food pyramid and I can have 12-13 servings of carbs a day. Well, it is bothering me why fresh vegetables are considered carbs??? I'm used to the Weight Watchers program where vegetables are free. I love raw celery, radishes, cucumbers, etc. I guess I'm kind of confused on this and also I understand the fruits are carbs too and I'm surprised the number of servings a day of fruit is only 3 or 4. This is just kind of confusing - I think it took me 1/2 hour to figure out my food plan and I didn't even touch on what I'm eating for dinner yet. Any hints or suggestions for making this transition easier? I did exercise tonight so I feel good about that.
