Could you be mistaking thirst for hunger? Are you drinking enough?

Before giving in to " hunger " try drinking a glass of water, brush your

teeth, find something to do for at least 10 minutes. If you still want

the food then, go ahead. Only have a portion, sit down to eat it just

like a meal, take small bites, chew thoroughly. Are you going long

periods between meals? Have healthy snacks ready for when you are

hungry. I have cut up broccoli, cauliflower and baby carrots that I

munch on a lot. It's ok to eat all the time, just try to make healthy

choices. I hope that helps.

You also have to have will power until your tummy shrinks a little.

I use to be starving after 2 sandwiches and now I am so full I only

need one. It does take time but it will happen.

Are you drinking water? What is it you are eating and how much? You

really shouldn't be hungry after a meal.

Hi All,

Today is my late day for work. Don't start until 11 AM so I am

taking a moment to visit this site.

Wanted to say that the day before yesterday I did a no-no. Bought my

favorite food -- bockwurst. It is a german white sausage. One

sausage is 230 calories. Well, I had two for dinner plus a roll. It

sure tasted good but I do remember after consuming so many carbs even

the next day when I wanted to cut my calories back I felt quite

hungry. Does anyone know if when you consume alot of carbs does it

make you more hungrier? I think it does, but just wondering from you

all.

I also just got back from a morning excersize at the gym. Spent

about 50 minutes there. Feels great. Well gotta go talk to you all

later and have a wonderful day.

Dianne,

Ooooh I love sausage! Just as long as it is not very often, it's ok. We

like brattwuerst (sp?) on the grill in the summer once or twice a year.

I have heard something about carbs and hunger but not sure exactly. I

think it is if you eat too many simple, processed carbs and not enough

protein and fiber. I'll ask in my other group. Have a good day at work.

i've already been busy today doing dishes, laundry, made spaghetti

sauce and made some phone calls. Now going to start doing weights, have

lunch then the tread.

Take care,

Gena
