Guest guest
, you had the nerve to let life get in the way of "us"? Just kidding. No matter how long you are gone, for whatever reason, we will be here when you need us. I had a whole lot of stuff going on in my life + the fibro, and I needed to sort it out. I have been diagnosed with fibro now for 3 yrs. I am currently on wellbutrin and neurontin, but am having trouble with the side effects. I will have to go to the doc as soon as I have the money. As I have been reading your posts I have laughed as well as cried. I had a funny event (though it wasn't funny at the time) happen to me today. My fiance and I were going to look at a mattress but our truck wouldn't work. A neighbor of our tried to jump it, but it wasn't successful. Then we called AAA, he jumped it and was able to get it started but it wouldn't continue to run. He was about ready to hook our truck up to his tow truck, when my fiance asked if we had gas. We called the AAA tow truck only to find that we were out of gas. To make matters worse the truck was in first gear (it has a manual transmission), so everytime he would tell us to take our foot off the gas pedal it would stall out. I normally check to see what gear it is in before starting it, I don't know why I didn't do it this time. Looking back on it I can see the humor in it. I hope all of you can to. I am not trying to hurt anyone feelings with this post. I just found the event funny and wanted to share it. 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.
