I had to chuckle at the part of making soup from the bones. Now I love to make soup from the bones left from the roasted turkey or a chicken and I'm sure the duck soup is just as good. My mother always referred to making soup from the turkey "carcass" so that's what I've always said as well. I found out not too long ago that the word "carcass" creeps out some of my family members. My witty wise-acre 13 year old grandson started calling the carcass Caracas and then from there it because "Venezuela Soup". I love homemade soup and I would make it several times a week if everyone else in the family liked it as much as I do. So you will have a roast duck dinner (soups wonderful!) and then some Venezuela Soup a few days later. LOLNow

as for the SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) --- are you taking your Vitamin D? You know Vitamin D has been shown to help SAD. I'm taking 2,000 IU now. Are you also taking anti-depressants? If it persists please go see your doctor. And you are right in that everything will be okay. You have your family and your new home to be thankful for! How's your wood burner doing?
