, not all breast lumps are cancer. If you are a big caffiene drinker, that can cause lumps. Sound like I am a nut, well I'm not, not yet anyway. hehe. If you do drink a lot of caffeine stop. I have had many lumpectomies, the last one however was stage 3 cancer.

I wish you luck , please have the Dr look at them. He will know the right thing to do.

not all lumps are cancerous. If you drink a lot of caffeine soda, coffee or tea or even eat a lot of chocolate try cutting back as caffeine can cause lumps. I will keep you in my prayers.

I found a lump in my breast

I found the lump a month ago. Since then I have had two breastultrasounds and a mammogram. I am 30 years old and am a survivor ofBrain Cancer. The lump surrounds the cord from my brain shunt, whichis broken in two places. The last ultrasound showed that I have lotsof little lumps. The doctor thinks that they are caused by Hormones. What I don't know is how can I get rid of the lumps?Thursday I will be seeing a GENERAL surgeon to ask about the lump. This is a good question to ask him. But I want to ask you all also. I think that people who have experience with Breast lumps have thebest advice.Thank you!God Bless!andrea

- I have a brain tumor. Where was your tumor? Mine is

begine. I'm getting no surgery for it. Mine is very deep and if I

start to have problems with it they might give me a shunt. I would

really like to know about yours because none of my freinds have them

and there is no one to talk to about it. Thank you Jane

Hi,

Has the lump been biopsied? If not, why not? It's probably nothing, most lumps are not cancer. However, in view of your history, I wouldn't think a wait and see attitude is a good thing. Are you still seeing an oncologist for the brain cancer - if so, what does he/she say?

The lump has not been biopsied. I hope the GENERAL

surgeon does that on Thursday. The doctor who did the

breast ultrasound, both times, referred me to a

Neurosurgeon. Neurosurgery refused to see me: they

made the diagnosis over the phone. The surgeon who

looked at my case said that it " is not in the best

interest of the patient to remove the shunt " . NO DUH!

I was told that two years ago when I had my seizures!

I am not seeing a Neurologist right now. I saw one

for 10 years. I called him and was referred to an

adult Neurologist who said he has never seen anyone

like me. He would need all my files and scans sent to

him so he can review my case. The doctor who put in

the shunt, and did the surgery for the tumor, will not

return my phone calls.

You wouldn't believe what has happened to me so far.

The doctor who did the ultrasound said " WOW! I've

never seen this before! This is really neat! " I

should have quit seeing her right away but I didn't.

I came back for a follow up ultrasound and aspiration

of one lump. The fluid was NOT sent to the lab;

instead, it was THROWN AWAY!! How am I supposed to

know what is wrong with me?????

Oh the blood test, to see if I have cancer cells in

me, was negative. The lumps are not in my lymph

nodes, according to the breast ultrasound.

Been cancer free so far for 20 years

I have had two breast ultrasounds and a mammogram.

One lump was aspirated and I thought the fluid was

going to be tested. Instead it was thrown out.

I see the surgeon on thursday. He will know what to

do about the big lump that surrounds the tube from the

shunt that is broken in two places. I just know I

will have lots of questions for him.

God Bless!

You can have them surgically removed and biopsied. I would insist on

removal and biopsy but only you can make the decision.
