Guest guest
Hand the water bottle to PD and tell them to " Get after it!!! " You spray it...you clean it! OK, so that happends sometimes....most of the time we wash their eyes out with sterile water...all we carry, watch out for the blowing snot from their noses, though. I believe the PD should be carrying the antidote for it, so that after they have the situation under control then they can care for the subject...or at least provide it to us! Field remedies for Pepper Spray > I was just wondering what does everyone else do for people that have been sprayed ( pepper spray, OC, mace, whatever) by either PD or by another party. I have heard lots of water, soap and water, milk, and even pouring coke or other soda because of the carbonation. Guest guest
When I went through tactical medic school I was told by a member of the DEA that Baby Shampoo and Sugar would perform equally as well as those commercial products, to ease the pain...nothing will completely cure the irritation but time.....and lots of irrigation.... Guest guest
Some water then more water and keep the water clean don't use the same water over and over as it is contaminated then more water and then some more water and more water then some water and after awhile if you use any water or a lot it starts wearing off nothing else works. .
