In California with SBC a quick dial tone (if I remember what our ANI/ALI shows). If we get a 911 hang up from one of these phones we must send someone out, because we can't call them back. Guest guest Posted July 8, 2003 Report Share Posted July 8, 2003 Michigan has the " express dial tone " after disconnect, you can call 9-1-1 and the phone co sales office. It's a big pain because there is no address for hang ups so we have to call for the address. Hate to see the day when there is a true emergency and we can't find the house. . . We have people calling 9-1-1 and tell us they had the phone shut off, could you please transfer me to my mom.
