Hellacious night

Well, she threatened me by telephone last night on the way home and

told me that if I didn't tell her what was going on with the police,

then she was going to hurt me " really bad " when I got home. I

called the police and reported this and they said they would meet me

at my house. Of course, when I arrived, the police were not there

yet. She got in my face a few times, and I asked for her cell phone

to be turned over to me, as she had decided to skip out of her last

period class and come home without my permission. I explained to

her that she was grounded for at least 4 days at this point. She

said " so " , and she said I told you the cops or anyone else can't do

anything to me. So she asked what was going on with the police and

I told her that it was none of her business. She told me that I

better tell her or she was gonna hurt me, then called me a nasty

name. I told her again it's none of your business, and she slugged

me (in front of my non-bp son). I walked out of the house, and went

down to get my cell phone from my car, at that point I saw the

police car turn down our road, so I went to talk to the officer, I

explained to him what had occurred, and he was waiting for back up.

They came into the house and asked her what had happened, and put

her in handcuffs and arrested her. They took her to Juvenile

Receiving Center, and kept her (told me I had to pick her up within

5 hours). I picked her up after 3 hours, and she was very angry

that I left her there that long. I told her that there are natural

consequences to every behavior. She begged me not to tell her dad

(we are divorced) but I didn't respond. She's afraid today that

she's going to get suspended from school for skipping out yesterday,

and that she will have to go to her dad's to sit all day (like I

told her last night, natural consequences are there).

Hopefully, now that she is in the juvenile system (2 charges of

harrassment) we will get some extra help for her.
