Guest guest
I would not increase again, yet.. but that's me.. I'm very conservative with increases. For me, my temps went up right after and increase then would drop back down a bit.. but with each increase by basal would level out a bit higher than with the last dose.... Right now my basal is a bit over 98. I was running a fever for a couple of days last week, I had a mild ear ache... the fever passed, the ear ache is gone and my daytime resting temp is a comfy 98.6 this week... smiles Topper () On Wed, 31 Mar 2004 16:39:47 +0100 " Lynda " writes: > While we are on the subject of temps, I still can't get mine anyway > near where it should be. > The last time I increased my armour, my basal came up to 97.8 for > one day only and then dropped back down again. Guest guest
This got me thinking, I wonder if your environment plays a role in your temperature. For example someone who lives in a colder climate would have a temperature thats " colder " than someone from a warm/hot climate. Something to think about. Guest guest
Theoretically ashomo sapienss we should have the same basal temp. The environmental difference would be how well we cope with weather extremes. Some folks are able to maintain body temperature better in cold surroundings by producing more heat... others are able to move around and such without producing as much heat with muscle movement. That's why some folks adapt better to various geographical areas where others don't.... Interesting thought... Guest guest
I don't have time to find it and post it but Yahoo news has a news story that Britain has a higher rate of skin cancer than Australia which is a warmer climate. Interesting. (Looks like when young Britons go on holiday they go to a warmer climate to get a sun tan and that's where they get the skin cancer.)
