Guest guest
Hi : Definitely call your orthotist today & see what he/she recommends and thinks. It is very common & typical to need some adjustments here & there in the beginning of treatment to get that perfect fit, but if you aren't comfortable and it seems tighter than you think it should be, address this w/your orthotist. Esp if Jack seems so unhappy wearing it, most babies adjust right away, some do take a bit longer but still adjust. As for the sweat, that too is common & to be expected for the first several days in the band or so. After a bit, the baby's body temp adjusts to this thing on top their head & the sweat should significanly decrease - although he'll still sweat, just not nearly as bad. Please let us know what your orthotist says. If you have any pics, we'd love to see em! Debbie > > > Dear Krissy, > > > > We picked up my son Jack's helmet today, April 20, and it is a > > STARband.
