Guest guest
Casting for 2nd DOC band I took for the casting for band #2. The 1st one took us from 24mm asymmetry to 17mm, and his ears from 13mm to 11mm, so we are seeing some great results. I'm hoping that #2 will be the end of it, but I doubt it. I took him to the neurologist last week for the script for the new band and the neurologist suggested Botox for his torticollis, I really need some help In determining if I should have it done. If anyone knows anything about it, please help.
Guest guest
Hi , I am so glad to hear that is responding well to his band. It is encouraging for me. As for the botox, I can't help you with that at all. My son is a tort baby as well, but we just did PT for it. It was very difficult, much harder for me than the band, to be honest. We went to weekly PT for about 5 months, and then went every 2 weeks for the next 7 months. I know that there are a few moms on the torticolliskids board that have used Botox to treat the tort, but it scares me to death. I have heard it is very painful! You may want to check out that group for some more tort advice. - mom to Aidan --- In Plagiocephaly , " " <heather_f74@e...> wrote: > > > Casting for 2nd DOC band > > I took for the casting for band #2. Guest guest
Hi : I'm happy to hear how well he's doing in his band! I'm sure he'll see more correction with his 2nd band over the coming mos.. I'm sorry, I don't know much about botox & tort. Are you a member of the tort group? I'm sure they have some knowledge about it. Debbie > > > > I took for the casting for band #2.
