An article taken from 'First for Women' this weeks issue says:

Instant fat blocker:-

Chitosan helps pounds melt away.

Chitosan (made from shellfish shells) can help you get atrim. A study

published in the journal of ARM Medicia-Helsinki found subjects who

took 1,800 mg chitosan daily while following a low fat diet, lost an

average of 15 pounds in four weeks; those who did not take it lost an

average of only five pounds.

Trick yourself into feeling full.

Recent research at Jefferson University Medical College shows

that you'll eat less if you include two tablespoons of olive oil in

each meal. " Olive oil slows stomach contractions, so we feel full, "

says Marshall Goldberg, a University porfessor. It prompts the

release of cholecystokinin, a hormone that signals us to stop eating.

So that seems interesting to me not too sure on the drinking of olive

oil though.
