Guest guest
Hi Carol, My doctor was hesitant at first to put my 11 year old, 65 lb. daughter on 20 mg of Zyrtec a day but since she wasn't getting relief with other medications she went ahead and okay'd it and said it shouldn't hurt her. She does just fine on this dosage right now and doesn't have any side effects but I do worry as to why other doctors are more hesitant. What kind of damage can this dosage or a stronger one cause. Guest guest
Dear Donna Hi-I am collecting the articles on zyrtec dosages at this moment to take to my doctor, but wanted to let you know that Myra wrote to me recently on this subject, to say that zyrtec had been field trialed at up to 60 mg per day with no ill effects except for sleepiness in some people. So I'm sure there is nothing to worry about with your little girl. Hugs, Carol Re: -re zyrtec dose > Hi Carol, My doctor was hesitant at first to put my 11 year old, 65 lb. > daughter on 20 mg of Zyrtec a day but since she wasn't getting relief with > other medications she went ahead and okay'd it and said it shouldn't hurt > her.
