When did your orthotist tell you his new band would be in? Next week

sometime you said right? Boy,honestly, if I was in your shoes and

after myself being w/the board 3+ yrs now & having an ill fitted band

on my daughter (who went 4+ wks between casting & fitting at 7-8 mos

of age), I'd really recommend you have him re-casted and start from

scratch. That'll be 4 wks next Weds between casting & fitting in

just a 6 mos old who's rapidly growing, I think it'd be best to err

on the side of caution and re-cast him. I know it's nothing you want

to do again, trust me, but in the long run, it probably be better.

Also, I'd bet Orthomerica would put a hot rush on the manufacturing

to get a faster turn around on a new band after all this.

I'm sorry!!!! Keep us posted. Do you have him out of the band now?
