Yep - still with WW. I am currently in an almost 2 month long plateau

which is driving me crazy. I believe it is partially tied to my lack of

exercise (2 months ago is when I stopped going to Curves because of

scheduling of soccer practice, etc.). Soccer is over as of this week

and I can hopefully get back to my old routine and the weight will start

coming off again. I am in the process of getting approval for a breast

reduction/lift and a brachioplasty - will wait on the tummy, thighs and

butt until I get this other 30 or so pounds off!

The cranberry salad is yummy - a little tart and crunchy!

Thanks for the great idea. I will try it tomorrow. How are you

doing?? Are you still doing WW?? I find that if I just eat a

high/higher proteien diet that the weight does slowly continue to

drop off for some reason I am no longer in love with Bread and the

carbs, like I used to be.. I actually find that I am NO LONGER

LIVING TO EAT.. it only took about 10 months.. but habits can be

broken..

Thanks again

We NEED to be compassionate! I know there are days when I feel like

blowing up - ALL of us share this disease, and yes, I DO think the

HCV affects our thinking, and makes us (me!) more irritable. I know

there are days when every little thing seems to make me mad! (In

fact, before I broke down and got on antidepressants it was EVERYDAY

- and I was not like that years ago before I contracted HCV!) I do

TRY not to take it out on my unseen friends here on the internet -

but I've let off a little steam now and then too. Since we, more than

any of those non-HCVer's around us, know what this disease is like we

should be capable of understanding an occasional blow-up.

I do think it is much safer to avoid the topics of religion and

politics, lol! Those are pretty hot topics that can evoke strong

emotions in just about ANYONE, and I think we are here because we

want/need HCV info and support. We're all different, with different

philosophies and beliefs, and as long as we can respect the rights of

everyone to have their own beliefs there is no reason we can't ALL

get along! Just think how boring it would be if we all were exactly

the same, thought the same, agreed on exactly the same things.....

And we'd never hear about any new ideas either! I think our

differences can make us stronger.

Hi ,

Thanks for your very detailed reply to my tort question and for the many

suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to do that. It is very helpful.

Mark,

I'm happy to help. Tort can be frustrating. Our PT stresses that

what we do at home is very, very important. na has been in PT

for 1 week now and we are already seeing improvement. We stepped up

our own efforts at home and the good PT sessions are helping. We

will probably go down to once a week.

Good luck and keep stretching!!
