Janet, just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you when you go to court. It is amazing that it has taken so many years to me but I am new at this. Just will expect the best for you and that you will come out a winner on this one!

Re: Kidney stones

Twila: Hi! I am writing about the "KIDNEY STONES", I know all too well about this, I use to get those every 5 years, I had them in 1984, 1989, and 1995. They said my body was making them, something about calcium being in my body and it must have been too much. Anyway, I know how bad they HURT, I have had three operations because of the stones. Two of the Liptatropsey, ( I was one of the first to have this done in 1984) I was at a teaching hospital in Indiana. I also came out of that hospital with a blood disease on top of it, I had to lose my spleen over this one. I had a blood disease called ITP low platelets. This was in 1984, and lost my spleen in 1985. I thought all my troubles were over, then I got hurt on my job in 1996 and I was diagnosed with RSD in 1998. As you can tell I had a string of bad luck lately. But somehow, I still make it. I don't how though. I guess I refuse to give up, and let them WIN!!! Oh by the way, I am going to Court in two weeks, to the Illinois Commissioner, does anyone have any information for me? I mean can someone give me some pointers on what to do, I have never done this before. My lawyer will be calling me tomorrow to go over my testimony, I have been waiting to go to Court for over 7 1/2 years can you believe it, I am scared!!! I mean hey it's only my whole life at stake here. Wish me luck!!! Believe me I will need it. Sorry I have went on and on. My life is a book just like everyone else that gets this horrible disease. Have a pain free night, and write when you can. JanetTwila Chaloupek wrote: I don't have a pain contract with my pain doc, because he doesn'tprescribe my pain drugs, except for my pump. So, I cannot say anythingfor that part of it. My 2 cents worth comes to the kidney stones. I'vetalked to several women who say that they are worse than being in thelast stages of labor, except you don't come up with having a baby. So,all I can see is that the pain of stones is bad enough that if youhave used your usual meds up, ask the urologist for more. Don't feelbad. Kidney stones are horrible, no one in their right mind shouldexpect anyone to go without pain meds while experiencing them. Youmight just put in a call to your pain doc that you have kidney stones, that you are out of meds due to this problem, and that the urologistis prescribing some to cover the pain of the stones, which also coveryour RSD pain. All he can do is have a fit, and if he/she does, youwere hunting for a doc when you found this one, right?Hope this doc is understanding. Have a great day and a low pain day.Twila----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------May this day be long on blessings, short on pain and have a plenty ofhugz in it!!---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.525 / Virus Database: 322 - Release Date: 10/9/03
