You might want to call your docs office sometime next week just to check and see if they have the results yet. I don't think they realize how anxious it makes us to have to wait that long. Guest guest Posted December 31, 2004 Report Share Posted December 31, 2004 Kate You probably will get better answers than this but the only thing I can offer is that I had a lump that was " suspicious " among other benign growths in my left breast, which they discovered on the mammogram and then an ultrasound. When I went back to have a needle biopsy, I saw the ultrasound pictures of my tumor posted on the wall -- it had a " starburst " appearance (or, like fingers coming out of it). This is a sign of cancer. The needle biopsy confirmed that it was. I did see the films, but cannot remember what it looked like, other than a white spot. I am feeling pretty good today, but sleep alot. That is Ok though as sleep is a big healer. Thank you again.
