Guest guest
Janie, I feel the same way does. No joy in things, no reaction to most events, etc. yet my T3 is way over the limit. What gives with still being depressed. Deborah Re: depression , emotions > The worst for me is the apathy. I don't have near the empathy I used to. And I don't feel I have the love I used too. I do things for the family more out of " ought to " than out of " want to " That's part of depression, and depression is part of a low T3. You need to be on an optimal dose of Armour yet. Guest guest
I think my sense of humor is hidden in the same place I hid my sex drive. As soon as the brain fog goes away, I will remember where I put them. depression , emotions Well reading and working with my doctor and looking back on the past and thinking about depression...I'm really not sure if I was or am depressed. I don't have any lows , but I also do not have any highs. I was wondering if anyone else is or has gone through this?? I can not get excited about things ....I really do not get upset about much either. Example: We bought this house 3 years ago...my work in progress " dream home " ..Not too big , not too fancy , just right for us and we can afford it and I will most likely never have to go to work , unless I want to . This makes it " our " dream home . We have been lucky enough to remodel it , to fit our life style. It has been a dream of mine to have a gourmet kitchen with all high end stuff. I got it...I have not filled it(Cabinets) for a year now..I'm still living out of boxes. I keep the boxes hidden in the garage so when people come over they wont know..LOL I don't like people knowing that things are not right...When people come over I have to have the house perfect and what easier way to do it....keep it boxed..LOL I just wanted to feel grateful , thankful , something. On more important issue ...I don't get mad at my kids and I don't get excited by them either.. The only feeling I get most is stressed out. Never excited or truly upset. I don't get into Holidays or birthdays and I used to go way out!!I guess I just feel numb....has anyone else ever been.. just numb??? Sorry for just rambling , but the good news is I am finely noticing that yea...maybe I am kind of depressed and I want to feel better....maybe I'm coming out of being numb... ---------------------------------

I can only pinpoint my low Ferritin (which I am in the process of correcting again) or my peri- meno state. Do you have either?? Guest guest
Glad to hear you guys like me picking on the hairy Titan warrior! LOL Hear that Topper????? Re: depression , emotions Oh, Jamy..... Almost every time you say something, it makes me smile -- if not right out chuckle. When you get going on Topper's leg hair.... now that makes me actually laugh! Your sense of humor is just great! Thanks!! At least the smile and the chuckle are back. Am really looking forward to the day when the laugh is more prominent. Sometimes they feel so forced. The " heart " isn't really behind it, ya know? Guest guest
There will be a cover charge in the future to the thyroid comedy show! To: NaturalThyroidHormones Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2004 11:24 PM Subject: Re: depression , emotions Jamy!! thanks for giving me a laugh so early in the morning. We are probably 6 hours ahead of you, so that little gem was waiting for me in my inbox this morning. That's the first time in ages that I have laughed out loud. Guest guest
I second the increasing low ferritin. It made a huge difference in me. You are right, your doesn't seem that low though, Re: depression , emotions

I wonder if there is a connection .I'm 31 and my doctor say....I'm also early menopause . I did have a hysterectomy last year ,but chose to keep my ovaries to avoid early menopause. My doctor also says I show signs of post tromatic stress disorder, he was going to look into a posable connection there too.....Good luck, ---------------------------------

Guest guest
Uhm no. Some examples - my great grandmother studied fine art in Florence Italy so I have some of her paintings with the fancy frames. Or a sterling silver flatware set. (Not silver plate but sterling.) Antique china and crystal. Oriental rugs. Even the family bible from the 1700's. My great aunts scrap book (she was born in 1891.) Guest guest
so the fact that I am older than you, does that mean I am too old for you to adopt me and put me in the will?
