Guest guest
With my several years of experience, I'd say not many could handle 30drops 3x a day. If they do they been building up to it a fairly long time. Just go low & slow with the build up per my prior post. Rita > > > > > > We've started anti-viral treatment. DS' measles titers were very high. First we did high dose Vit. A. Recently we started LDM and have worked up to 5 drops x 3 times daily. DS weighs about 32 lbs. Do you recommend going higher than 5 drops x 3 times daily? > > > > > >
Guest guest
I would say that it is only OK to keep going up in dose, if a slightly lower dose was tolerated for 2-4 weeks. I cannot make recommendations on measles as we do not have that. > > > > > > We've started anti-viral treatment. DS' measles titers were very high. First we did high dose Vit. A. Guest guest
DS weighs 32 lbs. and I have worked up the dosing for LDM for him upto 6 drops x 3 times daily. We are three weeks into it and he didn't get any rash yet. However, today he is running a temperature (has a fever). Could this be caused by LDM? If yes, is it recommended to temprarily stop the LDM until the fever/temperature goes away? Best regards, Arpita. > > > > > > > > We've started anti-viral treatment. Guest guest
It depends on how high the fever is (I personally would not recommend Tylonol though...use other means to bring down his fever depending on how high...tylonol will stress the liver further). Generally the kids did not run much of a fever, some ran a low grade but mostly it was not excessive. Your dose is lower so I'm not concerned with you having uncontrolled die-off that is not being addressed. How's his disposition (other than being kind of tired, our kids were pretty generally pretty happy). How's his stool (loose was normal as they are passing a lot of toxins). (I'm not a doc) If you feel uncomfortable with it, use your judgement & either cut back or stop.... Rita > > > > > > > > > > We've started anti-viral treatment. DS' measles titers were very high.
