Guest guest
As the lady out at the Refuge center told me - she has a brother with ms - your friends (the real ones) understand - the hell with the rest of the world Re: went beyond at B,B and Beyond! Hi, Kate: Do you receive the 20% off coupon from BB & B in the mail? They give you 20% off the largest priced item you buy. Regarding shopping carts, I've started using a shopping cart at the grocery store whether I'm buying a few items or a lot. I'm not going to carry around one of those baskets anymore. It's important to conserve energy and allow ourselves to make use of assistance like a shopping cart. And, honestly, who cares if someone thinks I'm lazy or slow? Something I learned in my stress management counseling is that we often "mind read" what others are thinking. We feel guilty or a little ashamed about using a shopping cart, or whatever, and mind read (or assume) that others think we're lazy. --Mr. Dana F. Guest guest
And how is Kate today? Kate????? (I talked to Kate last night and she had the MS Hug so bad she was having a hard time breathing). Sometimes we do ourselves in by overdoing it. (strange sentence, huh? lol) It's a hard balancing act to figure out what we can do without hurting our bodies and bringing on an increase in symptoms. Luckily the increase in symptoms is temporary. I hope that's the case with Kate.loveSharon This email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Hi Sharon! I'm not supposed to be on the computer! lol! I'm supposed to be cleaning! I did have PT this morning, and now I'm back. She-Beth my physical therapist wanted me to call Dr. Decker my neurologist and tell him I'm not walking very well; I don't have any sensation, or at least greatly diminished sensation in my left foot. She didn't have me do any exercises, but stretched me. She was very concerned. The hug is less 'constricting' today. Hard to say if this is a flare, or just plain overdoing. I liked your strange sentence Sharon! rofl! I'm waiting a call back from Dr. D. I know he'll suggest Solumedrol (again). I just wanted to give him a heads up that I have some 'stuff' going on--AND to wish him a Happy Thanksgiving too! :oD I'll see if it subsides by Friday or Sat.. My balance and vertigo is pretty bad also. Love ya all, Kate Re: Re: went beyond at B,B and Beyond! And how is Kate today? Kate????? Guest guest
Hi Kate: I sure hope you have gotten through this day without any further symptoms. After the day is over you need to rest, rest, rest. Give it a few days and I'll bet you'll be feeling much better. (I'm using some positive thinking on you!)What vitamins are you taking now? Or supplements? Do you take B Vitamins? I think it's important for us to take B Complex but be careful not to overdose on them. Too much of some B vitamins can actually cause nerve problems. I take B 50 from I Herb. My family is leaving again tomorrow to go north and work on the new house. So I'll be along until Monday so I can rest if I need to.loveSharon This email is a natural hand made product.
